Exalant value for money, extremely helpful, very tasty fish and chips.. being a Yorkshire lad...I'm a bit fussy about fish and chips.. but these are top quality, regards Mark Robson
Have eaten here a few times. Food is great, and the ambience is lovely. The team are extremely hospitable, and the Al fresco dining is lovely in the summer, and they have heaters for the colder evenings. Eating or just having a drink a lovely place to go
Salt and vinegar is my local chippy I Go there a couple of times a month I've had cod plaice and rock salmon the quality of the fish is always excellent the batter is always nice and crispy. Chips are perfect and staff are always friendly. Good size portions great value.
We ate at Salt and Vinegar on a Saturday evening enjoying cocktails and a fish basket and chips. It was like being on holiday, sitting outside with a great atmosphere and good food. Service was wonderful and I loved that our little dog was welcome to the outside seating area too. We will definitely be back!! Highly recommend!!
Good food, service a little slow, but could be food being cooked fresh for you, added bonus of being able to sit in and have a drink.
First time visit to Salt and Vinegar. Tried out a few cocktails which were fabulous and asked for a spicy marg which was off menu and they team made me one. Yummy. The staff were so helpful.
Just took my wife and daughter there for a treat, we decided to eat in. The service was quick and efficient. Also the food was lovely would eat in again. Also good variety of kids meals.
Lately I only get fish and chips from here. Chips are great and chunky, and the fish is NOT oily at all. Decent price, great portions.
